"Bridges over symptoms and tunnels under disorders" is a collection of recordings composed between 2006 -2008.
The music is an interpretation of sound art from the artist's interest in mental illness and intellectual disability. Mrcien's music tries to bring about a travel between music and dysfunctional living to see what's to be found. Can a mental obstacle be used as source for creativity? What is normal and what is not? These are questions the artist wants us to closer investigate.
Mrcien is Markus Åberg from Gävle, Sweden. He operates the "Two left hands on two right arms" netlabel and during the day, he works in the nursing care sector.
